Tactics and Safety Consultants
We are a group of dedicated professional trainers from the Law Enforcement and Civilian communities. We recognize that responsible, armed citizens and a well-informed community are the best deterrents against crime and violence.
Our goal is to provide training and situational awareness to individuals, families, and organizations to better equip people to defend themselves and what they hold dear. Safety requires much more than carrying a gun.
Training is a lifestyle.
Dave Turley
Instructor Bio
Detective Dave Turley (Ret.) spent 30 years in law enforcement service in Arizona. Det. Turley started his career as a uniform patrol officer, then worked as a Field Training Officer, SWAT Officer, and supervisor for the SWAT Team; other assignments included Criminal Investigations as a Detective, then a Sergeant.
For the last 20 years, he has had assignments with Gang Enforcement, Special Investigations, and Fugitive Apprehension. Det. Turley also served as an advisor/trainer to a Caribbean Nation, at the request of their government, where he created and taught a training curriculum for federal law enforcement units. Det. Turley spent over 10 years assigned to the U.S. Marshals Violent Offender Task Force, working with local, state, and federal law enforcement to coordinate high-risk fugitive operations. During this time, he also assisted other law enforcement agencies with firearms and tactics training on a regular basis.
Current certifications include Rifle, Pistol, and Shotgun Instructor through AZPOST (Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training) as well as the NRA. He continues to serve on the Firearms Training Staff for a local police agency, as a Reserve Officer, assisting with rifle and pistol training for patrol officers, and other task force and tactical units.
