This block continues where Low Light Pistol Fundamentals left off. If you take both of these blocks, you will be confident and proficient with your Defense Pistol in low-light conditions.

POI Include:
*A series of “Go or No Go” drills to challenge you to level up
*Reloading and malfunction clearance in Low Light
*Close Contact drills that simulate an unexpected attack
*Making hits very quickly as you move offline of attack.
*How to increase speed and control at close distance  
*Use of WML and Handheld Lights

This block is designed to build a foundation for all future Shotgun training. It is geared toward new Shotgun operators or experienced shooters seeking a refresher. Bring your pump-action, semi-auto, or lever-action gun and learn valuable skills for hunting or defensive purposes. Students will perform a variety of shooting and manipulation drills to build confidence and develop a solid skill set on this platform.

POI Include:
*Identify the principal components of the Shotgun and how they function
*Select the appropriate ammunition for the intended task
*Safe loading and unloading of the Shotgun
*Perform a status and function check on the Shotgun
*Apply Shotgun marksmanship fundamentals
*Clean, maintain, and lubricate the Shotgun
